My Father Cigars Inc. is set to introduce a few new cigars at the 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show. This includes a  new vitola to its El Centurion H-2K-CT line, two new vitolas in the Don Pepin Vintage line and new Fonseca by My Father blend.

El Centurion H-2K-CT

My Father Cigars revealed that the upcoming addition will be a 6 1/2 x 58 box-pressed toro grande. Priced at $10.70 each, these cigars will come in 20-count boxes. Like the other offerings in the El Centurion H-2K-CT line, this new size will be crafted at My Father’s factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, boasting a blend featuring a Connecticut-grown Cuban-seed wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos.

The El Centurion H-2K-CT line debuted back in the summer of 2015, initially comprising only two regular production sizes: a 5 1/2 x 48 corona and a 6 x 52 toro. A third size, a 6 1/2 x 52 box-pressed torpedo, was later released as a limited edition for the Tobacconists Association of America in 2016.

My Father Cigars mentioned that shipments of the El Centurion H-2K-CT Toro Grande boxes are slated to commence during the 2024 PCA Convention, happening from March 23-25 in Las Vegas

Fonseca Edition MX

As implied by its name, this new line showcases a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, complemented by Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos sourced from the García family’s farms. Notably, the wrapper in the Fonseca Edition MX replaces the Nicaraguan shade-grown corojo 99 rosado leaf featured in the original Fonseca by My Father line.

The Fonseca Edition MX will be available in four sizes:

  • Fonseca Edition MX Robusto (5 x 50) — $11 (Box of 20, $220)
  • Fonseca Edition MX Cedros (6 1/4 x 52) — $12.50 (Box of 20, $250)
  • Fonseca Edition MX Toro Gordo (6 x 60) — $13.50 (Box of 20, $270)
  • Fonseca Edition MX Toro Grande (6 1/2 x 56) — $13 (Box of 20, $260)

Following the trade show, slated for March 23-25 in Las Vegas, Nev., the new line is expected to ship promptly.

Don Pepin Vintage Edition

Following its exclusive availability to retail members of the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA) since its launch in May 2023, the Don Pepin — Vintage Edition from My Father Cigars is soon to be accessible to all retailers, along with the addition of two new sizes.

These fresh additions include a 5 3/4 x 48 corona gorda and a 4 1/2 x 50 petite robusto, expanding the line to a total of five sizes:

  • Don Pepin — Vintage Edition Corona Gorda (5 3/4 x 48) — $12 (Box of 10, $120)
  • Don Pepin — Vintage Edition Petit Robusto (4 1/2 x 50) — $11.50 (Box of 10, $115)
  • Don Pepin — Vintage Edition Robusto (5 x 54) — $13.50 (Box of 10, $135)
  • Don Pepin — Vintage Edition Toro (6 x 52) — $14 (Box of 10, $140)
  • Don Pepin — Vintage Edition Toro Gordo (6 x 60) — $14.50 (Box of 10, $145)

The Don Pepin — Vintage Edition, a Nicaraguan puro featuring a corojo 99 wrapper, is crafted at My Father Cigars S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua. Recognizable for its vintage-inspired bands and boxes, the design pays homage to one of the earliest bands known to adorn a Don Pépin García cigar.

This line was introduced to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Don Pépin García brand.
