This launch was more than a celebration; it was a testament to the rich history and tradition of cigar making. “El Emissario” enriches the Diplomáticos line, known since 1996 for offering a premium smoking experience akin to the Montecristo but at a more accessible price. Initially intended for the French market, the new release features an oily Colorado wrapper, complemented by earthy and elegant wood notes, with a creamy roundness that evokes the essence of La Gloria Cubana.

The event also facilitated networking and deal-making among industry insiders, with discussions often centered around past travels and exceptional tasting experiences. The ambiance, enhanced by a live Cuban band, created an evening of luxury, calm, and indulgence, inviting guests to enjoy the rich flavors of “El Emissario.”

Scheduled to be available in Swiss stores on February 6, “El Emissario” will debut at La Casa del Habano before being distributed to other retailers. With a price tag of 38 Swiss Francs per cigar, this exclusive offering is limited to 15,000 numbered boxes, each containing 10 cigars. Through the Edición Regional program, “El Emissario” offers aficionados and collectors a unique addition to their collections, highlighting the anticipation and exclusivity that surround these special releases.
