Paul Garmirian, writer of the book “The Gourmet Guide to Cigars,” which chronicled more than 220 different cigars, including a mix of Cuban and non-Cuban selections, is releasing a second book, “The Road to Cigars”. This book, almost 220 pages with a foreword from his son, is more personal as it’s his memoir, his journey from his youth in Beirut to a cigar maker in the United States.

Garmirian started his cigar brand in 1990 when he had cigars made at the Occidental Cigar Factory in the Dominican Republic. Besides being an author and a cigar brand owner, Garmirian has also been a teacher and a real estate broke ever since he moved to the United States in 1975. He studied in the UK and the USA, he was a race car driver and he performed on the Lebanese TV before the Lebanese civil war.

For Paul Garmirian, it has been a love affair with America for everything she has made possible,” the publisher, Cedar Publications, wrote in a press release. “America, an accepting society, allowed him to be inspired and motivated to achieve and excel in whatever field he chose.”

The book is priced at $29.95 for a hardback and $14.95 for the eBook version. The book will be available through McLeanCigars.com, cigarbook.store, as well as all PG authorized retailers.
