Martinez Cigars, the cigar producer with a factory in New York City as well as the Dominican Republic, has changed the blend of the La Bodega Riki Taki series and will add two sizes to the line.

The new blend consists of a Dominican Habano wrapper over an Indonesian Sumatra binder and filler from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. “We just felt that the Habano really worked well with the blend,” Dave Rivera, director of sales and marketing for Martinez Cigars, said. “It allows those other flavours to really come out. We’ve gotten really good feedback from our customers that come to the factory.”
The new sizes are a 7×44 Lonsdale and a 4½x46 Perfecto.

The robusto, the first release in the Riki Taki line, will remain available in the original blend. That means an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
