Forty years ago, Las Vegas played host to two Formula One Grand Prix races under the banner of the Caesars Palace Grand Prix. Last weekend marked the return of the Formula One circus to Sin City for the first time in four decades, as the sport aims to boost its popularity in the United States. In recent years, Liberty Media, the owner of Formula One races, has organized several new races in North America, with Las Vegas joining the roster this year.
A leaked internet list reveals a range of VIP packages for the Formula One event in Las Vegas, complete with exorbitant prices. Some packages include cigars and drinks, with access to private rooms. The packages start at $1000 and go up to $250,000. The “Clean Air” package offers a glass of Macallan M and a Davidoff Royal Release Robusto. The “Diffuser” package includes a glass of Louis XIII Cognac and a Gurkha HMR (His Majesty’s Royal) for $2500.
For $5000, the “Glider” package accommodates you and three friends with four glasses of Glenfiddich Single Malt 40 Years (45ml each), private room access, and four Arturo Fuente Destino al Siglo de Passion cigars. This package also includes a limited edition Eight Branded Trident cigar cutter. For an additional $500, the “Pole Position” package adds a box of Padron 1926 80th Anniversary, a bottle of Chateau Latour, Pauliac 1er Grand Cru Classe 2010, the limited edition cutter, and private room access.
The “Chicane” package, priced at $15,000, features a Gurkha Maharaja, a Glenfiddich luxury flight, a limited edition cutter, and private room access. The most extravagant offering is the “Chequered Flag” package, priced at $250,000. It includes an Elie Blue Opus 25th Cabinet, six boxes (144 cigars) of Arturo Fuente OpusX 25th Anniversary cigars, a free locker until NYE2024, a 6-liter methuselah bottle of Veuve Cliquot Brut Champagne yellow label, a shot of Glenfiddich 50 years for all guests, a free cutter, and private room access for up to 12 guests.
