Brad Reith, the 49 year old owner of Zeal Cigars was killed in a motorcycle accident in Phoenix, Arizona. Reith was a well-known, and most of all, a well-loved figure in the cigar community with a hugely popular YouTube channel.

Reith started out making videos for another lounge and in a span of 18 months, the channel had over a 100k subscribers, making it one of the most popular cigar channels on YouTube. After three years, Reith made the decision to venture out on his own, creating Zeal cigars, an online cigar retail company with a supporting YouTube channel. On the channel, with over 160k subscribers, Reith shared reviews, tips and cigar knowledge. He did that with his larger than life personality, which resonated in many fans.

Reith will be missed, not just by his friends and family, but also by the many fans he had in the cigar community. The team from Cigarinspector wishes Brad’s family and friends lots of love and wisdom in these hard times and we will be lighting up a nice cigar in Brad’s memory.

A motorcyclist died after being hit by a vehicle making a left turn in Phoenix on Tuesday, authorities said. Officers responded to the collision around 11 a.m. at Cave Creek and Greenway roads, the Phoenix Police Department said.

When they arrived, officers found 50-year-old Bradley Reith with serious injuries, police said. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died. The driver of the vehicle involved in the collision remained on scene.

Detectives said early information indicates the driver of the other vehicle was traveling south on Cave Creek Road when it made a left turn at Greenway Road, striking Reith.

Impairment wasn’t believed to be a factor in the collision. Any charges will be made after the reconstruction process. An investigation is ongoing.
