Tosa has been a private blend since 2011 from Dominican based Tabacalera Cuevas Hermanos, which are known mostly for their works with private blends and customers. The brand stop existing around 2016-17

    Appearance: Rating: ★★★

Tosa visually striking with the brown coloured nice wrapper, which is very dry on touch, no sign of oils etc almost like a paper.

    Construction: Rating: ★★★

I will start with the smoke production for this one as is its way above the average. Draw but open, burn is wonky, but correct around the half way and is significantly better.

    Flavour: Rating: ★★

Cold draw is grass and wood

First start with very strong earth, there is a very interesting combination of grass and leather. Plenty of nutmeg on retro.

Second third didn’t change much, some pepper appeared on the retro.

Last third changes a lot nothing from the above is here anymore, oak and vanilla now dictated the flavour

    Value: Rating:  N/A

The cigar was discontinued a long time ago and not really can be put value on it.

    Overall Rating: Rating: ★★

I am not surprised that cigars disappeared, it’s nothing to remember, quite disharmonic smoke, the blend did not mix, some moments were bitter and too dry. Construction is not perfect too, I can’t keep ash longer.
