Cuba is the origin of the cigar, and the country remains popular amongst cigar smokers. Yet, after the revolution, a lot of knowledge fled the country and started a new life and new businesses elsewhere. First on the Canary Islands, then moving on Central America. And the state of the Cuban cigars isn’t as good as it used to be.

The last few years, Nicaragua is on the rise, and they export more cigars nowadays than the Dominican Republic. Even well known Dominican producers like Arturo Fuente and Davidoff explore Nicaragua. Davidoff released the Davidoff Nicaragua a few years ago, while Arturo Fuente is building a new factory in Esteli.

Our question to you is: what is your favorite cigar country?
