The reviews this week come from Honduras and Nicaragua. From Tabacalera Kafie and Gran Fabrica Drew Estate. The San Jeronimo Habano Robusto is the first review of the week. The second one is the Drew Estate BOTL Lancero.

As for the news, there is some good news but also some bad news. Starting with the bad, because that’s only one article. Malaysia has several duty-free zones such as the island of Langkawi. But starting next week, those zones will not be duty-free anymore for tobacco products, including pipe tobacco and cigars. The best news comes from The Netherlands. Van Dalen Cigars, the chain of shops owned by Sasja Van Horssen gets the 5th location. This time as a franchise concept in the Northern city of Groningen. It’s the 5th Van Dalen Cigars location, but Van Horssen also owns Cigaragua in Amsterdam. And he’s the largest distributor of New World cigars in The Netherlands.

New cigars and accessories

Daniel Marshall teams up with Rolls Royce Whispers club. Each member of the Whispers club gets a Daniel Marshall by Carlito Fuente XXXVIII Anniversary cigar plus access to an online modern-day campfire. The German luxury brand HENK releases a limited edition ashtray in collaboration with Meissen. Meissen is the oldest porcelain manufacturer outside of China.

Tabacalera A.J. Fernandez adds a Churchill size to the popular New World Connecticut blend. The line now features five regular production sizes. Casa Cuevas can now be found in Australia. It’s the third market they open internationally. And Casdagli Cigars releases an ultra-limited production with extra-aged cigars. The Casdagli Enigma will only be sold at Club Mareva Beirut for the time being. This is the weekly news of week 52 2020.
