NewsWarped Sarto: A Tribute to a Beloved Dog
Author: Inspector X
Warped Cigars is set to release a heartfelt new cigar line this November, named Sarto, in memory of brand owner Kyle Gellis’ late Cane Corso. Known for the deep connection between dogs and their owners, this new release pays tribute to Gellis’ cherished pet, Sarto. To symbolize the strength and bond they shared, Sarto will also be the most robust cigar Warped has ever crafted.
“Dogs are a very big part of my family,” says Kyle Gellis, the owner of Warped Cigars. “I wanted to pay homage to Sarto, who had a special place not just in my family’s heart but also with the entire team at Warped. Sarto suffered from idiopathic epilepsy, which required constant care, so he came to the office with me every day. He was loved by the whole Warped team, who spent time with him throughout his life.”
Sarto will be available in three sizes: Double Corona (7 x 54) priced at $16, Toro (6 x 52) at $15, and Robusto (5 x 50) at $14. Each size will be packaged in 14-count boxes. This cigar line also marks a milestone for Warped, as it will be produced at the NACSA factory in Nicaragua, a first for the company.
The Sarto blend is designed to be full-bodied, reflecting the strength and loyalty that Sarto embodied. It features a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder from EstelĂ, and Nicaraguan fillers from EstelĂ, Jalapa, and Ometepe.
This upcoming release is a testament to the love between Gellis and his dog, immortalizing that bond in a powerful, high-quality cigar. With its rich blend and personal backstory, Sarto is expected to resonate with cigar enthusiasts and dog lovers alike.
