Viaje has been releasing a seasonal Halloween cigar off and on since 2013 and 2023 is one of those years that the Full Moon is being offered to Viaje retailers in the United States. The cigars originally came in elaborate packaging, round like a full moon with a bright orange jack-o-lantern on the lid but now come in traditional boxes with that jack-o-lantern imagery. This year, there will not only be a 5×58 Full Moon but also a Mini Moon, measuring 4⅞x52.

The blend has always been the same, a Nicaraguan puro with a Corojo 99 wrapper. But from different crops so there is always a slight change in flavour between the years. There is also a Edicion Limitada version with a Mexican San Andres Maduro wrapper and both will be available this year in both sizes. The cigars are made in Nicaragua in an undisclosed factory.

Production numbers for the Full Moon and Full Moon Edicion Limitada have not been disclosed but the Mini Moon is limited to 250 cigars and the Mini Moon Edicion Limitada even less, with only 125 boxes made. If you manage to get any of these rare cigars, please leave a review on cigarinspector.com
