Vegueros Centrefinos are now available in Australia. The Habanos distributor for Asia and Pacific, Pacific Cigar Company, has released the new Vegueros down under.

The 5⅛x50 robusto was officially announced in 2018 but saw it’s debut on the market in April of 2019. Switzerland was the first country to receive the cigars. And now the tins, with 16 of the Vegueros Centrefinos, are available in Australia as well.

The Vegueros brand was born to pay homage to all Cuban farmers who, from generation to generation have grown tobacco mainly in Pinar del Río. It is at Francisco Donatién Factory located in Pinar del Río where the Habanos of this brand are produced. Vegueros brand was completely discontinued in 2012. The old sizes and packaging disappeared. And in 2013 the brand remerged. Three new sizes were released. These are the Tapados 4¾x46, Entretiempos 4⅜x52, and Mananitas 4⅞x46. All in beautiful tins. And now the Centrefinos has been added to the line-up.

Pacific Cigar Company

The Pacific Cigar Company was founded in 1992 by the late Sir David Tang. He was a well known, and beloved, authority on Cuban cigars. He passed away in 2017 due to liver cancer. In 2018, Habanos and Pacific Cigar Company honored him with the Punch Sir David. That’s a 7⅛x49 regional edition for Hong Kong. With the Pacific Cigar Company, he was the exclusive Habanos distributor for all of China, and the Pacific including Australia and New Zealand. PCC has released several regional editions, for the Asia Pacific and individual countries in the region.

We reached out to Pacific Cigar Company to find out which other countries in the Asia Pacific region will get the Vegueros Centrefinos. Pacific Cigar Company replied that all of their territory will be supplied within the next few weeks.
