In 2007, Two Guys Smoke Shop, commissioned Don Pepin Garcia to create a 3 ½ x50 version of his blue line with a long pigtail to mimic a firecracker. This would be a limited edition celebrating the 4th of July, America’s independence day. This was such a hit that it became an annual release, but every year made by another cigar manufacturer.

United Cigars, the distribution company owned by the same people as Two Guys Smoke Shop, went to Tabacalera Magia Cubana for a regular production Firecracker blend, that would be sold all year around. Now the Black Bomb Firecracker gets an updated blend and packaging, from the same factory in the Dominican Republic.

The Black Bomb Firecracker uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Sumatra binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The cigars will come in boxes of 25 cigars.

“At United Cigars, we pride ourselves on our ability to push the boundaries of innovation in the Firecracker line while staying true to the essence of cigar craftsmanship,” said Oliver Nivaud, director of operations for United Cigars, in a press release. “We are excited to introduce the Black Bomb Firecracker to consumers who seek intensity and unparalleled flavours.”
The Black Bomb Firecracker is one of a handful of blends United Cigars has created just for the Firecracker Series. Unlike the cigars from other manufacturers, these cigars are often regular production items offered to retailers year-round.
