Undercrown Maduro Shady XX returning. Drew Estate announced that the limited-edition collaboration with Eminem’s Shady Records is making a comeback in 2020. The cigars are presented during the upcoming Freestyle Live: Special Edition hosted on facebook.com/drewestatecigar on June 11th from 7:00-9:00 pm EST.

In 2014, Drew Estate and Shady Records released its first collaboration. Back then, only ten retailers in the Detroit Area received the cigars. Detroit was specifically chosen as that’s Eminem’s turf. It’s where he grew up, where he started to spit bars. A dramatized version of his early life story is told in the 2002 movie 8 Mile. The match with Drew Estate is a match made in heaven, as Jonathan Drew is a big hip-hop fan. And his love for the hip-hop culture shines through in some of the graphic designs and attitude of Drew Estate. For example, the MUWAT line was originally called ‘My Uzi Weighs a Ton’ after a song by Public Enemy. The name is changed to MUWAT due to the fact that the owner of the Uzi brand wasn’t happy that his machine pistols were linked to tobacco.

Undercrown Shady XX

The Undercrown Shady continues to be one of the most consumers demanded limited editions in the Drew Estate portfolio. This powerhouse blend, similar to the Undercrown “Corona Viva,” features a toothy Mexican San Andres wrapper, spicy Connecticut Stalk Cut Habano binder, and showcases the highest quality plantation filler leaves from Nicaragua and Brazil. The ShadyXX is a 5” x 50 box-pressed belicoso that is well aged and packs a punch. Yet it remains smooth and sophisticated during the entire smoke. ShadyXX is packaged in an elegant, gold embossed 10 count petaca that signifies the 2020 Limited Release.

If the Undercrown Shady XX will reach the international market has not been confirmed by Drew Estate.
