The Cámara Nicaragüense de Tabacaleros (Nicaragua Tobacco Chamber) once again organizes the Puro Sabor Festival, the Nicaraguan version of the Habanos Festival and Procigar. It will take place from January 23rd to 27th 2023.
“After being absent for three years, we are very excited to announce that we are once again opening the doors of our industry to receive our guests,” says Manuel Rubio Centeno, president of the Nicaraguan Chamber of Tobacco, via a press release. Centeno, who is also the operations manager of La Gran Fábrica Drew Estate, called the festival a great opportunity for Nicaraguan cigar lovers to meet again with the best tobacco manufacturers in the world.
The festival will start in. the colonial city of Granada, where Favilli Cigars is located before moving the epicentre of the world’s cigar manufacturing, Estelí. That’s where attendees van visit tobacco fields and cigar factories where lunches are host. The evening has celebratory dinners and events. In 2019 the festival was cancelled due to social unrest, in 2021 and 2022 the Covid-19 pandemic was the cause for cancellation.
