Tatuaje is honouring Roxy, the dog of Tatuaje’s K.C. Johnson. Roxy passed away earlier this year and now Tatuaje is releasing two 3½x50 short robusto cigars in her honour. The L’Atelier Roxy comes in boxes of 20 cigars, 10 of the original L’Atelier blend and 10 of the L’Atelier Maduro blend.

“Some would say that the idea of having two blends in a box was because she was phantom, it also could be because she had two different personalities,” Johnson wrote on social media.

The difference between the cigars is the wrapper. The original blend features an Ecuadorian Sancti Spiritus wrapper while the Maduro version has a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. The filler and binder on both are all Nicaraguan.
