Today the sad news reached is that well-known retailer Mariska van Outheusden, owner of Havana in Tilburg, the Netherlands, unexpectedly and suddenly passed away last Friday at age 45.

The Dutch cigar community has had their share of drama in the last few years with the passing of three influential retailers, Anneke Bodar from De Compagnie, Breda, Johan Kelch from Tabakado in Eindhoven and Berry van Nugteren from Van Lookeren in Amsterdam. The sudden death of Mariska is the next blow to the Dutch cigar retailers.

We wish family and friends lots of wisdom and strength during the sad times. Mariska, Rest In Peace, you will be missed.
