Room 101 releasing the death bucket. This limited edition dates back to 2017. Back then, Room 101 and it’s creator Matt Booth disappeared from the cigar industry. But a short while later, Booth and Room 101 reemerged. No longer with Davidoff, who had been a long time partner. But now with Henderson Ventura and Tabacalera William Ventura.

The cigars that Booth blended at Tabacalera William Ventura were released at just a few retailers. In total, approximately 7500 cigars were released. The cigars were unnamed but had a bucket-shaped ring with a skull in the bucket. The cigar aficionados named it ‘Room 101 death bucket’ and that name stuck. Room 101 is now releasing 10.000 more cigars, for five retailers across the United States. All five retailers have shown Room 101 love according to Booth. They are now being rewarded with this release.

The blend consists of Nicaraguan fillers with a Dominican binder. The wrapper is an Ecuadorian Habano and the cigar only comes in a 6×52 Toro vitola. The cigars are packed in bundles of 10 cigars. But Room 101 has plans for a boxed version as well, in a larger release.

No international release

Unfortunately, all the retailers selected to receive the cigars are located in the United States. Room 101 fans outside of the USA won’t be able to find the limited edition Room 101 Death Bucket at their local tobacconists.
