Rocky Patel offers new cigars to international accounts. At the Intertabac trade show, the Rocky Patel introduced a few lines to the international distributors for Rocky Patel Premium Cigars. Those lines are the Rocky Patel Number 6, the ALR Second Edition, the LB1 as well as line extensions for the 25th year by Hamlet and the Liberation by Hamlet. And of course the new cigar for the Cigar Smoking World Championship. All distributors have the right to add the cigars to their portfolio, but it doesn’t automatically mean they do. Every distributor tailors the portfolio to the market they serve.

LB1 and Number 6

The LB1 is coming from Honduras, where Patel has a joint venture with Plasencia. The cigars come with fillers from Honduras and Nicaragua. The fillers and the binder come from Patel’s own farms in Nicaragua. The wrapper is Ecuadorian Habano. The sizes available are 6×44 Corona, 5½x50 Robusto, 6½x52 Toro, 6×60 Sixty, and a 7×48 Churchill with a shaggy foot.

The Rocky Patel Number 6 also hails from Honduras. The name comes from the blend, this was the 6th blend for the cigar. Originally Patel wanted to use the name Legacy but that was taken by another brand. The cigar has a Corojo wrapper from Honduras. The binder is Honduran Corojo too. The filler comes from Honduras and Nicaragua. The Rocky Patel Number 6 has the exact same sizes as the Rocky Patel LB1.

The 25th year by Hamlet was introduced last year at the Intertabac trade show. And this year saw the release of a new size. It’s a 7 ⅝ x55 Salomon, offered in 10 count boxes. The cigar was available in the United States but is now also offered to international distributors. And Liberation by Hamlet is now available in the sizes Corona Gorda, Robusto, and Toro.

Last month, Marko Bilic from the Cigar Smoking World Championship and Rocky Patel announced that Rocky Patel will supply the new competition cigar for the next few years. The cigars were shown at the Intertabac trade show, yet those were not the final blend. The box design will also be changed before the cigars will be released on the market in late January of next year. The cigars will be available as robusto, toro, and of course in the official competition size Mareva.

Even though Rocky Patel Premium Cigars is available in almost every country in the world, the company filled in some gaps. The new markets that opened for the cigar manufacturer are Serbia, Greece, Finland, Croatia, and Lithuania.
