One of the more popular cigars from Quesada is the annual release of the Oktoberfest, cigars blended to be paired with beer. And at the PCA Convention & Trade Show, Quesada will launch the 2023 version of the cigars, including one with an unusual shape.

As expected, the 5½x52 Bavarian will make its return, just as the 6×52 Das Boot and the 6×60 Uber. 5000 cigars of each size are made, packed in boxes of 10. But the real kicker is an event only Salomon press. The cigar has the size of a toro extra, 6¾x50 but is shaped in a unique way with a head and foot that bulge out and a flatly pressed tapered mid-section. Quesada used this shape once before, in 2014 for their 40th Anniversary release.

The blend consists of Dominican tobacco under a Mexican San Andres wrapper and the cigars are made at TABADEX, the factory owned by the Quesada family in the Dominican Republic.
