Protocol to release Cyber Crimes Unit. And with this new release, Protocol remains loyal to its theme. All cigars from Protocol are linked to law enforcement. The brand is the brainchild of former law enforcement officers and always honored their past, and their former field of work, in their new passion. The Protocol Cyber Crimes Unit is a regular production cigar.
Like all cigars from Protocol, they are made at Tabacalera La Zona in Esteli, Nicaragua. The line will debut in one size only, a 6 ½ x48 box-pressed Short Churchill. The cigars are packed in boxes of 10 pieces. The wrapper is a Nicaraguan Puro with a Habano Rosado wrapper. According to Juan Cancel, co-founder and co-owner of the brand the cigars are creamy and smooth yet a good punch in the mouth.

Cubariqueno’s co-owner Kevin Keithan works in internet security. Cubariqueno co-founder Juan Cancel said “Kevin is a great addition to Protocol Cigars. Ever since Kevin has stepped out of the shadows and into the spotlight, we wanted to do a special Protocol Cigar line in his honor. I can’t think of anything more fitting than the Protocol Cyber Crimes Unit.”
The Protocol Cyber Crimes Unit is created to honor those that protect the world from cybercriminals. The mission of cybercrime units is to conduct and assist in investigations where computers, networks, telecommunication devices, and other technological instruments are the vehicle or target for the commission of criminal acts against network resources critical to the function of corporate or government entities. Cybercrime units are becoming more and more important in the fight against criminality and terrorism..
