SpecialsPCA Convention and Trade Show Sees Promising Future with Exhibitor Interest, as Drew Estate Considers Return and Davidoff Stays Silent
Author: Inspector X
Recently the PCA announced that it’s moving the convention & trade show from the traditional dates early July to March starting in 2024, and that move looks to pay off already. In 2020, four large exhibitors pulled out for several reasons, but three out of the four are seriously considering a return in 2024. The four are Altadis, STG, Drew Estate and Davidoff, of whom only Davidoff currently has no plans to return. Altadis is already returning in 2023, while STG is present as they acquired Alec Bradley whom already confirmed a booth prior to the sale.
Glenn Wolfson, CEO of Drew Estate, said that “The recent announcement that PCA 2024 will take place in late March rather than July is a compelling and enticing turn of events that deserves and has our full attention. We are certainly aware of and understand the industry-wide speculation surrounding the possibility of Drew Estate returning to the PCA show in 2024. Given PCA’s move to an earlier position on the calendar, we plan to expedite our discussions about our potential participation at PCA 2024 and we will share the outcome of these discussions soon.”
One company that does not seem likely to return is Davidoff of Geneva USA. Dylan Austin, president of Davidoff Americas, declined to comment.
