In 2015, Paul Garmirian marked the 25th anniversary of his namesake cigar company by releasing the Paul Garmirian 25th Anniversary Connoisseur (6 1/4 x 52). This was followed by a second size, the Short Robusto (4 1/2 x 52), introduced the following year. Now, a third size has joined the line-up.

The new Paul Garmirian 25th Anniversary Belicoso measures 6 1/4 x 52 and features the same blend as its predecessors: an Ecuadorian habano wrapper, a Dominican binder, and a blend of four Dominican fillers. Like other Paul Garmirian cigars, this one is crafted by Davidoff at the O.K. Cigar Factory in the Dominican Republic.

The MSRP is set at $24.90 per cigar, with an initial release of only 200 boxes, each containing 20 cigars.

“For us, this is more than just another cigar,” the company stated upon introducing the blend in 2015. “It filled a gap that existed in our lines. We made hints and suggestions, and the artisans in the Dominican Republic nodded in agreement. We patiently awaited the right moment, as this particular wrapper required an additional nine months of fermentation.”

In addition to his cigar brand, Garmirian owns McLean Cigars PG Boutique in McLean, VA. He published the Gourmet Guide to Cigars in 1990 and launched the first line of PG Cigars that same year, initially as an exclusive offering in his shop before expanding to a national release in 1991
