Norway gets the king
Author: Inspector Z
Norway gets the king. If you watch the cigar groups on Facebook, there is one boutique brand that gets a lot of attention. That brand is Jas Sum Kral. That translates to I am king in Macedonian. And the good thing about social media attention is that it creates a demand from all over the world. If there is a demand, someone will supply. For Norway, that supplier is Nordic Cigars.
Red Knight
The first blend that Jas Sum Kral ever released is the Red Knight. In four sizes. Lancero, Lonsdale, Robusto, and Toro. From the Red Knight series, Norway gets the Red Knight Lancero and the Red Knight Toro.
The cigars use an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. The cigar has a double binder. One from Jalapa in Nicaragua. The other from San Andres in Mexico. The filler is undisclosed.
Toothpick 2.0
Another offering from Jas Sum Kral is Toothpick 2.0. These are medium filler cigars. The leftovers from the Jas Sum Kral Red Knight production is recycled. Combined with other tobaccos, these leftovers are filler tobacco for the toothpicks.
There are two Toothpick blends. One with a Mexican San Andres Maduro wrapper over an Indonesian binder. And another one with an Ecuador Habano wrapper over an Indonesian binder. The lines are called Toothpick Maduro and Toothpick Habano.
Having smoked several Jas Sum Kral Red Knight cigars and the two different Jas Sum Kral Toothpicks, we can say that Norwegian cigar enthusiasts are in for a treat. Norway gets the king, and they will know it.
