New World Cameroon to be released
New World Cameroon to be released. A.J. Fernandez puts out another cigar. This time it is a new line under the New World umbrella. This will be the fourth New World release. The first release is the regular New World, with an Oscuro wrapper. The second release is New World Connecticut with a Connecticut Shade wrapper. The all Nicaraguan New World Puro Especial is the third release. All the tobacco from that cigar comes from Esteli. And now it’s for the New World Cameroon.
The fact that Fernandez chooses Cameroon for this line is quite surprising. The portfolio of A.J. Fernandez is gigantic. He’s not only responsible for making cigars under the A.J. Fernandez name. He makes a lot of private labels as well. And in that wide portfolio, there is not a single line that uses this delicate and expensive, African grown wrapper.
As of yet, it is not clear if the New World Cameroon is going to be a USA only release or that the international markets will follow. But as always, we keep you posted as soon as there is more news.
The blend and vitolas
Except for the Cameroon wrapper, all the tobacco used is Nicaraguan. The smallest cigar in the line is a 4×48 Petit Robusto. There is also a 5½X54 Doble Robusto and a 6½x52 Torpedo. The two largest sizes are a 6×60 Gordo and a 7×48 Churchill.
