SpecialsNew Villa Zamorano sampler by Maya Selva Cigars
Author: Inspector Z
New Villa Zamorano sampler by Maya Selva Cigars. And a unique sampler it is. We have seen many samplers, but the unique packaging of the Villa Zamorano Reserva collection sets this sampler apart from all others.
The sampler is designed to look like a beer can. But instead of a glass of liquid gold with a white foam head, inside you will find five cigars. Those are the Villa Zamorano Reserva Espresso, Robusto, El Gordo, No.15 and the new Soberano. And once the cigars are gone, the can is a perfect travel humidor for long road trips. It fits perfectly into the cup holder of a car. The cap turns into an ashtray. So this packaging serves a use, more than just being a novelty.
The sampler contains the five sizes of the Villa Zamorano Reserva. That cigar is a Honduran puro, whereby the wrapper comes from Jamastran. The sizes of the cigars are 3½x52, 5×50, 5×56, 5½x54, and 6×60.
Villa Zamorano Reserva Soberano
Last September, at the Intertabac trade show, Maya Selva introduced the Villa Zamorano Soberano, a 6×60 giant. And that size turned out to be so popular, that the Soberano is making its way into the Villa Zamorano Reserva line as well. This Honduran puro has a wrapper from Jamastran. From the Santa Eulalia farm to be precise. That farm is owned by Maya Selva.
The new Villa Zamorano Reserva Soberano will be produced in Honduras. Maya Selva has a long history with the Plasencia family and they work together when it comes to the production of Flor de Selva and Villa Zamorano. Selva runs the production of her cigars, but the factory is owned by the Plasencia family.
