New toys for New Zealand. The only importer and distributor for New World cigars in New Zealand is Canteros. But Canteros does more than just cigars. They are also the largest importer of pipe tobacco and accessories in New Zealand with exclusivity for many major brands. And now the cigar enthusiasts down under can buy new gadgets at the Canteros webshop.

The gadgets

When a cigar is really good, you want to smoke it to the nub. But since our fingers aren’t made of Teflon, that sometimes creates a problem. There are several nub tools on the market. But if you want a nub tool that is also a conversation piece, then Cigar Dagger is the brand to go to. All cigar Daggers are handmade or handcrafted. With materials such as silver, brass, semi-precious gemstones, crystal, wood, and bone to name a few. But not limited to those materials either. The pins themselves are food-grade stainless steel.

Also new at Canteros are the Dissim lighters. These lighters were a huge success on Kickstarter. Instead of raising the $3200 goal, more than 7000 backers raised 100 times that amount. The Dissim is a soft flame lighter, although there is also a torch version now. But the unique selling point is the option to light it upside down. That makes it perfect to light candles or pipes.

The shape of the lighters, with a hole in the center, makes the grip ergonomic and easy. Dissim has a patent pending for this circular grip.
