More Oliva cigars for Switzerland

More Oliva cigars for Switzerland. The local distributor Wellauer has added a few new cigars to the Oliva line-up. Those include The Oliva Connecticut line in three sizes. And a new size for the Oliva Series V Melanio.

Oliva Series V Melanio
This blend does not need an introduction. Especially not after being selected #1 cigar of the year by Cigar Aficionado in 2014. The figurado scored a 96 rating, taking the first place in the charts. And now there is a petit corona available in Switzerland. This 4½x46 cigar uses the same blend. Filler and binder are from Jalapa, Nicaragua. The wrapper is grown in Ecuador, especially for this line. The cigars are 10 CHF each, or 100 CHF for a box of ten.
Oliva Connecticut Reserva

The Oliva Connecticut Reserva is the mildest offering from the Nicaraguan manufacturer. It was released about a decade ago. The sales representatives for the company had a demand for a mild cigar, so the company created one. And it’s been a part of the Oliva portfolio since.

The cigars are made from Nicaraguan filler and binder. The wrapper comes from Ecuador. It’s a Connecticut Shade type of wrapper. That creates a smooth, mild cigar.

Distributor Wellauer decided to start with three cigars from the series.
They picked the 5×50 Robusto, which comes in boxes of 20. A box is going to cost 160 CHF, a single cigar only 8 CHF. The second cigar in the line up is the 6×50 Toro. These cigars come in a fancy, stylish Tubo. The cigars are 11 CHF each, with ten cigars in a box. The final size, for now, is the 6×60 Gordo. Due to the thickness, this is the mildest of the whole series. A box of ten is 120 CHF. That makes one single cigar 12 CHF.
Earlier this month, Wellauer also introduced two brand new Samaná cigars. And now more Oliva cigars for Switzerland.
