More Habanos releases revealed at the Habanos Festival. During the annual Habanos Festival in Havana, Cuba, Habanos shows new products that are expected to be released this year. Earlier this week, we showed a few of the products that are coming. And now Habanos as revealed more.

Juan Lopez Selección Especial 

The La Casa del Habano franchise is celebrating its 30th birthday. And that is something Habanos does not ignore. The franchise is getting a Montecristo release but that’s no all. There’s also a Juan Lopez Selección Especial coming. This 6 7/10×52 double robusto isn’t new. The United Kingdom had the Juan Lopez Selección Suprema in 2011. 

When the cigars will hit the shelves is not known yet. What is known is that the cigars come into boxes of 25. And the cigars will have the Juan Lopez ring and the well known La Casa del Habano secondary ring. Just like with the Montecristo Herederos, this cigar not just celebrates the La Casa del Habano birthday. Juan Lopez celebrates its 150th birthday as well.

COLECCIÓN HABANOS

The Coleccion Habanos is an annual release packaged as a book. It is always a very limited and pricy release. They are always non-production vitolas. For the 2020 Coleccion Habanos, the H. Upmann brand was selected. And Habanos made it a large cigar, a 7⅒x56 vitola under the name H. Upmann Super Magnum. There will only be 3000 numbered boxes of 20 cigars available. 

Swiss Edicion Regional

The Habanos distributor for Switzerland, Intertabak AG, has revealed the 2020 Edicion Regional. The company picked the Quai D’ Orsay brand to celebrate its 25th anniversary. And the size? That’s a 109, 7¼x50 called the Selection Royale. The cigar will come in 50 count boxes. Only 1600 boxes are produced. Of course, it is still a question of these cigars will be available this year, but if so, it will be in the final quarter.

Belux & Paises Bajos

The Netherlands will be getting a 109 sized cigar as well. It will be the Ramon Allones 40 Carat. Belgium and Luxembourg will share the Gloria Cubana Medaille d’or especial, a long skinny cigar.
