On Wednesday, Daily Wire host and acclaimed author Michael Knowles introduced his latest endeavor, the Mayflower Cigars, a premium, handmade cigar line featured as the newest addition to the Daily Wire‘s consumer brand portfolio. The launch was revealed on Knowles‘ daily podcast.

Mayflower Cigars are sourced from Nicaragua and are carefully handcrafted, drawing upon Knowles‘ personal preferences to deliver a premium smoking experience. The Daily Wire‘s foray into the world of cigars follows the successful creation of other branded products, including Jeremy’s Razors and Jeremy’s Chocolate.

These fine cigars are produced at Knowles‘ preferred cigar factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, designed in collaboration with the skilled artisans at Oliva Cigar Co. Knowles, a devoted cigar enthusiast, explained that cigars have played a significant role throughout his life, from contributing to his college acceptance to landing a show with The Daily Wire, a right-winged media.

“Cigars are among the few things I’ve loved longer than my wife, whom I first started dating in high school. An essay on my love of cigars helped get me into college. A cigar review convinced The Daily Wire to give me a show. From the moment a family friend gave me my first cigar—a machine-made Cuban—I fell in love with the whole affair: the flavor, of course, but also the ritual and, most of all, the culture,” he stated.

Mayflower Cigars offer two distinct blends in six different vitolas. The Mayflower Dawn blend is characterized by its mild-to-medium body and features an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, a Cameroon binder, and Nicaraguan fillers. It is available in Robusto, Toro, and Churchill sizes. In contrast, the Mayflower Dusk blend is medium-to-full-bodied, boasting an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Sumatra binder, and Nicaraguan fillers. This blend can be enjoyed in Robusto, Toro, and Toro Gordo sizes.

The branding of Mayflower Cigars reflects a blend of Knowles‘ family heritage and American history, with his ancestors having sailed on the Mayflower when the Pilgrims arrived in New England on November 11, 1620.
