Mi Querida Triqui Traca is coming to The Netherlands
Mi Querida Triqui Traca is coming to The Netherlands. Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust importer Longfiller Company has confirmed that the second blend in the Mi Querida brand is expected to arrive soon. Yet, the pricing is unknown.
Steve Saka, owner, and founder of Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust blended the cigar when he was asked for a special project. The New Hampshire based 2 Guys Smoke Shop asked Saka to create a Mi Querida Firecracker for their annual store exclusive release. And that store exclusive release is always a 3½x50 cigar with a long cap, mimicking a firecracker. Since Saka always tweaks blends to match a specific vitola, he started working on this project. After the cigars were praised so well, Saka decided to use the blend for regular production.
Mi Querida Triqui Traca
Of course, the gentleman that Saka is, he didn’t use the 3½x50 Firecracker vitola for the release. But he used Nicaraguan slang for firecrackers tied together, Triqui Traca, as the name for the new blend. There are two vitolas available, the Mi Querida Triqui Traca No. 552 and the Mi Querida Triqui Traca No. 648. The first is a 5×52 Robusto, the second is a 6×48 Toro.
The cigars are slightly stronger and bolder than the original Mi Querida blend. The packaging is identical, except for the color. Where the Mi Querida sports a blue ring and blue artwork, the Mi Querida Triqui Traca uses red as a color.

The cigars are ordered, yet the exact date when they will be in The Netherlands has yet to be confirmed. Whether the cigars will be a Cigaragua exclusive cigar, or if they will be available for all retailers has to be announced as well.
