Mexican Ramon Allones now in shops. The Ramón Allones Perfecto, Mexico’s regional edition from the 2020 program, is now available at Mexican Habanos retail points. The launch party of the cigar took place last week. There are 4500 boxes of 10 cigars available according to the Cuban Cigar Website although other sources mention 6000 boxes. The handwritten list that was leaked last year also mentions 6000 boxes.
The cigar
The Ramon Allones Perfecto is a 6¼x47 Perfecto. This Figurado has the factory name Tacos. It is the same size as the Hoyo de Monterrey Elegantes, a cigar exclusive to the La Casa del Habano franchises all around the world. Partagas has the Presidentes of this size, and there is a Regional Edition for Asia Pacifico in this vitola coming.
It is not the first time that the name Perfecto appears on a Ramon Allones. A cigar with the same name was part of the 2014 Regional Edition program. Switzerland had the Ramon Allones Perfectos. The cigar was a different size, however. That cigar measures 5â…œx48 and has the factory name Britanicas Extra.Â
This is the first time that Habanos and the exclusive distributor of Cuban cigar in Mexico, Importadora y Exportadora Puros y Tabacos S.A. de C.V., use the Ramon Allones brand. In the recent past, they opted for Punch with the Punch Duke. Before that, Mexico had three Edmundo Dantes Regional Editions. They are the only country where the Edmundo Dates brand ever was released.
