At last week’s InterTabac 2022 trade show, Meerapfel Cigar introduced its second line, the Meir Master Blend.

The line is named after Meir Meerapfel, who in 1876 set up the Meerapfel cigar factory in the village of Untergrombach, Germany. The blend and the factory are family secrets, and even though Cigar Inspector tried, Jeremiah Meerapfel would not slip up.

There is a Double Robusto, Robusto, Churchill and Pyramid, all made annually in limited editions. The cigar come in boxes of 25 except the Double Robusto. The Double Robusto comes in a tray that can be used as an ashtray as well.

The first release of the Meerapfel Cigar Meir is scheduled to begin shipping this autumn and will join the Meerapfel Cigar Richard, which was announced in late June. Like the Richard, production of the Meir will be limited to 613 chests of each vitola per year.

On its website, the company lists the Heller and the Ernest as its other two lines, though no additional information is listed.
