Macanudo reblends Macanudo Black Inspirado
Last night Scandinavian Tobacco Group reintroduced the Macanudo Inspirado Black for the Dutch market. A select number of retailers was invited to the Eemhof beachclub in Zeewolde for an introduction party.
The Macanudo Inspirado Black isn’t a new cigar but the master blenders at the General Cigars factory on the Dominican Republic reblended the cigars for the 50th anniversary of the Macanudo brand. And for the Dutch cigar aficionados there’s good news, the price dropped with 30% from the 10 euro range to the 7 euro range.
The lucky guests got to smoke the different tobaccos as Puros in cigarillo style, the different Nicaraguan filler tobaccos, the Ecuador Sumatra binder and the Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper from the U.S.A. The re-release will come in two sizes, a 4½x48 robusto and a 5½x50 toro. The cigars are expected to arrive in the stores next week.
