M. K. & Söhne, a family-run business based in Rellingen, near Hamburg, has announced a major development in its operations: it has secured the distribution rights for three prestigious brands—Ashton, La Aroma del Caribe, and Paradiso. This strategic move represents a significant expansion of the company’s portfolio and a major milestone for the Kohlhase brothers, Adam and Daniel, who lead the company.
In a statement reflecting their excitement, Adam and Daniel Kohlhase expressed gratitude for the longstanding relationship between their family and the Levin family, who own the brands. “We are extremely pleased with this collaboration, and we value the loyalty of the Levin family. Our families have shared a strong, trusting, and prosperous business relationship for many decades,” they commented. This relationship has evidently laid the groundwork for the successful expansion into new territories, as the Kohlhase brothers have consistently demonstrated their ability to grow their business with strategic insight and a deep understanding of the market.
Over the years, the Kohlhase family has been at the forefront of pioneering the German tobacco market, bringing with them invaluable experience, a strong network, and a clear vision for the future. They have worked diligently to establish the brands they represent on the German market, providing the best platforms for growth and visibility. “We are thrilled to continue this success story,” the brothers added. They highlighted the strengths of their team, emphasizing the dedication and expertise that have driven their company’s success. “Our team is highly motivated and incredibly experienced, which allows us to confidently navigate the evolving landscape of the tobacco industry.”
The first official presentation of Ashton, La Aroma del Caribe, and Paradiso under M. K. & Söhne’s distribution will take place at the InterTabac trade fair in Dortmund. Attendees can visit the company’s booth in Hall 4, Stand B16. According to the Kohlhase brothers, the products are already en route to the warehouse in Rellingen and are expected to be ready for distribution by September 30, 2024.
