In the world of flavored cigars, Bahama Mamas is a big name. But two years ago, the company rebranded itself to LaMirada and announced to make non-flavored cigars as well. The second non-flavored cigars will be available for retailers soon

The new line is the LaMirada Habano Viejo with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a Dominican Corojo binder and filler consisting Dominican Criollo 98 and Piloto Cubano. The cigars are made at Tabacalera Palma in the Dominican Republic. There are a 5×50 Robusto, 6×52 Toro and a 6×60 Gordo available.

“This is a cigar with warmth and richness that values a cigar smoker’s time,” says Anthony Rodriguez, national sales director for LaMirada, in a press release. “Our Habano Viejo delivers a bolder experience to help build loyalty to LaMirada as cigar smokers move beyond smooth.”

There is also a sampler box available with five of the new Habano blend and five of the first Connecticut Shade blend in the toro size. In the coming months, LaMirada is planning to release packs with 4 cigars of each size, two of each blend. The company says they are working on a Maduro version.
