La Palina is bringing back two former Goldie sizes as limited editions for this year’s PCA Convention & Trade Show. These are the La Palina Goldie Laguito No.5, a 5 5/8 x54 Robusto Extra. The original release of this size was in 2013, and for 2023 only 1000 boxes of 10 cigars are made.

The La Palina Goldie Prominente is released for the third year in a row. This 6 ½ x48 Toro is limited to 500 boxes of 10 and is only available to retailers who visit the PCA Convention & Trade Show.

Both cigars are made at El Titan de Bronze in Miami and use an Ecuadorian wrapper and binder over Dominican filler. The Goldie line is named after La Palina owner Bill Paley’s grandmother, Goldie Drell Paley and is to honour the women in the cigar industry. It is fitting that the cigars are made at El Titan de Bronze, as the factory is owned by a woman, Sandy Cobas.
