La Gloria Cubana enthusiasts have once again played a pivotal role in shaping the destiny of their favored cigar brand. In a distinctive move, Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG), the parent company of La Gloria Cubana, has heeded the call of its loyal followers for the second time, resulting in the imminent arrival of La Gloria Cubana Society II at retailers.

Building on the success of the inaugural La Gloria Cubana Society cigar, crafted entirely from Honduran tobacco leaves in 2022, this year’s iteration embraces a more diverse blend. The collaborative effort features a Honduran wrapper, an Ecuadoran Sumatra binder, and fillers sourced from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. In terms of dimensions, the new release stands at 6 inches by 50 ring gauge, slightly more compact than its predecessor but compensated by a heightened level of complexity. This premium experience, however, comes at a higher cost, with a suggested retail price of $12.99, compared to the $8.99 tag of the previous, larger cigar.

Manufactured by hand at El Credito, a rolling gallery nestled within the expansive General Cigar Dominicana factory in the Dominican Republic, the La Gloria Cubana Society II underscores a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

The discerning La Gloria fan base played a pivotal role in influencing various aspects of this release, extending their influence from the blend composition to the packaging design and even the size of the cigars. Cory Beardsley, the assistant brand manager for La Gloria Cubana, expressed the brand’s dedication to catering to the preferences of their elite community, stating, “For this, our second ‘Society Cigar,’ we have created a smoking experience that reflects the collective preferences of La Gloria Cubana fans.”

With the new La Glorias presented in 10-count boxes, La Gloria Cubana enthusiasts symbolize a harmonious fusion of consumer input and artisanal craftsmanship, promising aficionados an elevated and tailored smoking experience that captures the essence of their collective preferences.
