La Flor Dominicana goes carnivore. The Dominican cigar manufacturer and Hacking Gourmet are starting a collaboration. Together they launch the Gourmet Smoke Sessions. In a press release, La Flor Dominicana writes that with changing times, premium cigar experiences must be innovative. To provide an opportunity to connect consumers with retail partners, other consumers, and La Flor Dominicana, the LFD-GSS entertainment program is born. The La Flor Dominicana Gourmet Smoke Sessions allows participants in a premium cigar and gourmet food journey, both live and on a virtual broadcast event.
The program
La Flor Dominicana and Hacking Gourmet will be presenting a total of 16 LFD Gourmet Smoke Sessions all over the United States. The program is spanning the next 16 months. At each “LFD GSS,” an exclusive cigar is to feature. The design and blend of the cigar will reflect and represents each session’s food preparation theme. Litto and Antonio Gomez are the guests during the sessions. They provide insight into the art of cigar making and the beauty of the premium cigar culture.
All the meat comes from the world-famous Miami meat purveyor, Meat N’ Bone. They are developing curated meals that are prepared with instruction by Hacking Gourmet during each session. The featured meals will ship nationwide through Meat N’ Bone and arrive at participating guests in temperature stable packages with all necessary ingredients included to participate along. Or to prepare at a later moment.

Inaugural session
The inaugural session will be October 29, 2020, at 7:00 pm eastern time. The location is at Two Guys Smoke Shop of Salem, New Hampshire, and broadcast through The Cigar Authority. After each session ends, the following month’s session is revealed. Details about the next with the session menu and participation details are revealed then as well. After the inaugural session, all broadcasts will be produced and streamed through Hacking Gourmet.
La Flor Dominicana is a vertically integrated premium cigar company. They are proudly controlling the process from the seed to the final grading, inspecting, and packing process. La Flor Dominicana tobaccos are grown at their farm in La Canela, Dominican Republic. The factory is located in Tomboril. La Flor Dominicana was founded by Cigar Hall of Famer Litto Gomez and his wife Ines Lorenzo-Gomez.
Hacking Gourmet, founded in Maine during the pandemic, is a twice-monthly culinary broadcast featuring gourmet dishes of all origins specializing in the perfect preparation of red meats. Hacking Gourmet goes live the second and fourth Monday of each month and welcomes frequent culinary guests. They also have seasonally themed episodes, premium cigars, and a passion for entertaining through the love of preparing gourmet food. Hacking Gourmet was created by cigar industry veterans Jonathan Carney, Brian McGee, and Fred Rewey.
All “LFD GSS” dates and participation details will be featured on www.HackingGourmet.com and food packages available through www.MeatNBone.com. Cigar packages will be provided through the participating retailers.
