SpecialsKristoff Releasing Two New Brands
Author: Inspector X
Kristoff is releasing two new brands, one limited to the PCA members and one regular production line. The Kristoff PCA 2022 Signature series is exclusive for the PCA members while the Kristoff Guardrail is a new regular production. Both lines are made at the Von Eicken Cigar Factory, formerly known as Charles Fairmorn, in the Dominican Republic.
The Kristoff PCA 2022 Signature Series is limited to 750 boxes, each containing 20 cigars. It’s a 6½x60 Gordo, box-pressed, with a Connecticut grown broadleaf maduro wrapper over a Dominican binder and filler from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
The Kristoff Guardrail draws its inspiration from an accident of Glen Case, Kristoff’s owner. He was doing 65 mph on his motorcycle in Oklahoma when he crashed into a guardrail. Case was hospitalized for 8 days and left him temporarily in a wheelchair. Now that he’s recovered he’s using the accident as an inspiration for the new line. The band has a guardian angel theme.
The cigar uses a Brazilian wrapper, a Dominican binder, and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Zimbabwe. There are three sizes, a robusto, Churchill and a 6½x56 called Matador
