Author: Inspector X
Kafie 1901 is set to unveil its inaugural line of sweet-tipped cigars at this month’s 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show.
Named ‘Liga de la Casa Sweet Tip’, this brand features three distinct blends, each available in two consistent sizes. While Kafie keeps the specifics of the blends under wraps, all cigars are meticulously crafted at the La Aurora Cigar Factory in the Dominican Republic, utilizing tobaccos aged 4-5 years. The line offers a choice between three wrapper options: Connecticut, Habano Maduro, and Habano Natural.
The Liga de la Casa Sweet Tip line-up includes:
• Robusto (5 x 50) — $7.90 per cigar (Box of 20, $158)
• Toro (6 x 50) — $8.30 per cigar (Box of 20, $166)
Dr. Gaby Kafie, the founder of Kafie 1901, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion into sweet cigars in a recent press release, stating, “During my extensive travels throughout the United States, I’ve been frequently asked about our offerings for individuals that enjoy sweet cigars. While technically we haven’t ventured into this territory, we believe it’s time to explore new horizons and cater to the diverse preferences of our consumers… We’re incredibly excited to introduce this new segment to our portfolio, confident that it will broaden our presence in the market.”
Initially part of the Kafie portfolio as a bundle cigar, Liga de la Casa now steps into the spotlight with its Sweet Tip iteration. The official debut of Liga de la Casa Sweet Tip will take place at the 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show from March 23-25 in Las Vegas, with shipments expected to commence in April.
