K by Karen Berger now available in South Africa. The cigars from Karen Berger and Don Kiki are now available in the most southern tip of Africa. Cigar Club South Africa is the exclusive distributor for these Nicaraguan cigars.

Don Kiki

Karen Berger is the widow of Enrique ‘Kiki’ Berger, the flamboyant Polish, Cuban, American who created the Cuban Crafters megastore and Tabacalera Esteli. He was also growing tobacco right next to his factory in Esteli. We paid tribute to Don Kiki in our series of Cigar Industry Legends in early January.

When Don Kiki passed away in 2014, his wife Karen took over. She not only consolidated business, but she grew it. Both the Don Kiki cigar lines as her own brand, K by Karen Berger are gaining more and more traction. Both in the USA, and internationally. Recently the Don Kiki and K by Karen brands became available in Israel. And both Don Kiki and K by Karen Berger are now available in South Africa. Tobacco Business Magazine has Karen Berger on the nomination list for businesswoman of the year

South Africa

The South Africa Cigar Club exists since 2013. The distributor and Karen Berger are introducing several lines and sizes to South African cigar enthusiasts. K by Karen Berger is coming in all three blends. That means the Habano, Maduro, and Connecticut blend.

From the Don Kiki series, South African aficionados can try the Don Kiki Brown with its Criollo wrapper. Or the Maduro cigars with the black label and the gold label. The green label with the Connecticut Shade wrapper is also available
