Juan Martinez is coming to the Dutch Big Smoke. The third guest of the Dutch Big Smoke is Juan Martinez. He joins Jonathan Drew and Omar de Frias in the line-up. The event will take place during the second weekend of September at 3 or possibly 4 locations in The Netherlands.



The confirmed locations are Cigaragua on September 14th, limited to 40 people. For the Saturday evening, no plans have been finalized yet. We heard rumors that the Big Smoke organization and retailer Harold Lensen from Lensen Tabak are working on something. Lensen Tabak is a renowned shop in Arnhem, in the east of the country. As soon as any news is confirmed, the information will be updated.



For the Sunday, 15th of September, two locations are confirmed. The main event takes places at Restaurant Le Barrage in Alblasserdam. For the main event, 200 tickets are available. And the afterparty that evening takes place at Jacks’ Cigar Bar in Rotterdam. For that part of the event 40 tickets are available. Tickets are €85 and include 10 cigars new to the Dutch market. Pronica

It’s not the first time that Joya de Nicaragua’s president Juan Martinez is a guest at the Dutch Big Smoke. He’s been present a few times before. During one of the Big Smoke pre-parties a few years ago, something he said ultimately caused the foundation of Pronica. Pronica is the charity of Longfiller Company and raises funds for Fe Y Alegria. Fe Y Alegria helps underprivileged children to education, not just in Esteli, Nicaragua but all over Latin America.

As the Dutch Big Smoke is a ‘new cigar’ release party, Martinez will bring something new to introduce to the Dutch market. That is the brand new Joya de Nicaragua Antaño CT. A Connecticut wrapped Joya de Nicaragua Antaño, the fourth blend under the Antaño name.
