JR Cigar is set to introduce the second release in its JR Pure Origin line, Terra de Andes, scheduled for November 1, 2023. This line is part of JR Cigar’s effort to offer a more premium selection within its portfolio, and it features blends made from rare and exotic tobaccos. The initial release in the JR Pure Origin series was the JR Pure Origin Gran Vulcano in 2021, which paid tribute to the tobacco grown in Nicaragua.

Terra de Andes pays homage to the Andes Mountains region in South America, where tobacco is believed to have originated. The blend incorporates tobaccos from Peru and Ecuador, with a composition that includes an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, and a combination of Nicaraguan and Peruvian fillers. The cigars will be available in three sizes, each presented in ten-count boxes:

Robusto: 5 x 50 ($12.00 per single cigar, $108.00 per box)
Toro: 5 x 50 ($13.00 per single cigar, $117.00 per box)
Toro Gordo: 6 x 56 ($14.00 per single cigar, $126.00 per box)
