NewsIntroducing the Trinidad Espiritu Series No. 3: A Mexican-Inspired Cigar Sensation for Día de Los Muertos
This latest addition to the Trinidad Espiritu Series features a Mexican wrapper elegantly enveloping a Nicaraguan binder and a core of Nicaraguan fillers. Like its predecessors, the Espiritu No. 3 is expertly crafted at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez Cigars de Nicaragua S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua. The collaborative work of Abdel Fernández and Rafael Nodal, the vice president of Tabacalera USA, led to the creation of this blend, characterized by its medium-to-full-bodied strength.
Cigar enthusiasts have the pleasure of selecting from a range of five regular production sizes:
Trinidad Espiritu No. 3 Robusto (5 x 50) — Priced at $11.13 per cigar or $222.60 for a box of 20.
Trinidad Espiritu No. 3 Toro (6 x 54) — Priced at $12.08 per cigar or $241.60 for a box of 20.
Trinidad Espiritu No. 3 Magnum (6 x 60) — Priced at $12.68 per cigar or $253.60 for a box of 20.
Trinidad Espiritu No. 3 Panetela (7 1/2 x 40) — Priced at $12.50 per cigar or $250 for a box of 20.
Trinidad Espiritu No. 3 Belicoso (6 1/8 x 52) — Priced at $12.61 per cigar or $252.20 for a box of 20.
According to Rafael Nodal, “The Trinidad Espiritu Series No. 3 is a sensory experience like no other. With a blend of the finest tobaccos – including the Habano San Andres wrapper – and carefully selected regions, these soft-pressed cigars boast a complex yet subtle profile with earthy notes, light coffee, anise, and the right amount of spice in the finish.
In keeping with the Mexican theme, the cigars are being released in connection with Día de Los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead, a Mexican holiday that pays homage to those who have passed away. The holiday officially occurs on November 1 but is often celebrated from October 31.
To enhance the launch of Espiritu No. 3, Altadis U.S.A. will offer Codigo 1530 tequila at select retail events.
