Author: Inspector X
Drew Estate is set to unveil its latest creation, the Liga Privada Único Serie Porchetta, following the success of Liga Privada Panchetta. This new addition to the Liga Privada line-up is a box-pressed belicoso measuring 6 x 46 and features a Brazilian mata fina wrapper, complemented by binder and fillers sourced from Honduras and Nicaragua.
Designed as an exclusive offering, the Porchetta will be available at an MSRP of $19.25 per cigar and will be presented in boxes of 20 cigars. What sets this release apart is its exclusivity to Casa de Montecristo, a renowned retail chain comprising 25 stores across the nation. Some of these stores are under the ownership of Tabacalera USA, while others operate as franchise stores.
Despite being a regular production item, the Liga Privada Único Serie Porchetta will remain a Casa de Montecristo exclusive. This strategic decision aims to provide aficionados with a unique and specialized smoking experience through this distinctive offering.
Jonathan Drew, the president, and co-founder of Drew Estate, expressed his excitement about the Porchetta, describing it as a “meaty, in-your-face, turbulent journey of flavour and aroma.” He went on to elaborate that the blend offers a robust and calculated meaty profile, akin to a Larry Holmes jab – forceful yet smooth. The cigar is expected to make a lasting impression, reminiscent of Holmes’ ability to knock out opponents with precision jabs during his heyday.
Drew Estate has already dispatched the Porchetta to Casa de Montecristo, anticipating its imminent availability for enthusiasts seeking an exceptional smoking experience. With its unique blend and Casa de Montecristo exclusivity, the Liga Privada Único Serie Porchetta promises to be a noteworthy addition to the Liga Privada portfolio.
