Intertabac 2018 Plasencia Cigars. Nestor Andres Plasencia took some time to talk to us about the Plasencia Cosecha 146 during the Intertabac trade show. The Cosecha 146 was recently released on the European markets and Nestor Andres explains why it’s so special

Plasencia Cosecha 146

Cosecha means crop. And Cosecha 146 means that the cigar comes from the 146th crop of the Plasencia family. That means that the tobacco is from the 2011-2012 tobacco season. The Plasencia family tobacco history dates from 1865. At Intertabac 2018 Plasencia Cigars launched the cigars for the international markets.

The Plasencia Cosecha 146 is the first of its kind. Plasencia is planning to release more crop-based cigars in the coming years. The wrapper of the Cosecha 146 is Honduran. It covers a Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Nicaragua and Honduras.

Plasencia is releasing the Cosecha 146 in six sizes. Those are a 5×50 robusto called La Musica. Then there are the 5¼x52 vitola La Vega and the 5¾x54 San Luis. Finally, there is a 6¼x52 San Agustin and a 6×58 Monte Carlo. All sizes come in boxes of 20 cigars.
