Hand Rolled wins a prize. Hand Rolled: a film about cigars is a documentary on the art of making cigars. It premiered at the IPCPR in July. The documentary is the work of Steve Gherebean and Jesse Mairut. Pete Johnson from Tatuaje Cigar is one of the co-producers. As far as we know, this is the only independent full-length documentary about the cigar industry ever.

Hollywood International Independent Documentary Awards

At a festival for documentaries, Hand Rolled: a film about cigars wins a prize. The jury at the Hollywood International Independent Documentary Awards is impressed by Hand Rolled. So they awarded Hand Rolled: a film about cigars an award. An award of recognition. 

For now, the documentary is only available to those who backed the project. But the makers intent to distribute Hand Rolled: A film about cigars through several digital media. Via streaming platforms but also through Google Play, Amazon, and iTunes.
