Gurkha Treinta humidor for The Netherlands. Earlier this week, We published that the limited edition Gurkha Treinta humidors reached the German distributor. The Dutch distributor, Kelch Trading, reached out to us. The humidors reached The Netherlands as well. But they are in high demand. The black humidors with 50 cigars are sold out, even with the €1000 price tag. The cabinet with 100 cigars is still available, it has a €1900 price tag.

GURKHA TREINTA

The cigars are blended with Nicaraguan fillers from Jalapa and Esteli. Corojo 99 and Criollo 98 are included in the filler. The binder is an Aganorsa Corojo 99. There are three regular production vitolas. Those are Robusto 5×50, Toro 6×54, and Magnum 6×60. We reviewed the Gurkha Treinta Toro.

But there are also limited edition vitolas. Those are only available with the limited edition humidors. Gurkha made 1000 humidors that include 50 cigars. 25 Gurkha Treinta Belicoso of 6¼×52 and 25 Gurkha Treinta Figurado of 6¾x52. Gurkha did announce tins with all five vitolas as a sampler though. 

HUMIDORS

There are two different humidors available. There is a cabinet with 100 cigars. 50 Gurkha Treinta Belicoso and 50 Gurkha Treinta Figurado. And there is a black table humidor with 50 cigars, 25 of each limited edition vitola.

The cigars and humidors were made before Kaizad Hansotia, Gurkha’s former owner and CEO was forced to step down. When he stepped down, Gurkha started to remove his name from all packaging. Because these humidors were created before the public outrage caused by hurtful and racist comments made by Hansotia, his name is still on the humidors.
