The cigars with the Freemason logo, the square & the compass, are soon available through Bright Leaf Distribution Ltd.
Bright Leaf Distribution
Bright Leaf Distribution Ltd is a player in the British cigar industry for more than 20 years. They represent both boutique cigar brands as well as big established names. And they are the sole importer for several brands of cigar accessories.
The brands that Bright Leaf Distribution is representing are Rocky Patel, Ashton, E.P. Carrillo, Oscar Valladares, Te-Amo, and La Galera. Plus a Dominican value cigar with the name Juliany. Xikar, Vector, and Passatore are the accessory brands in Bright Leaf’s portfolio.
Hiram & Solomon
In a press release, Fouad Kashouty says that “We believe that our partnership in the UK market, with all the history and values that it represents, will bring lots of mutual benefits for both companies alike.” The company is the baby of Fouad Kashouty and George Dakrat, two freemasons who realized that there was no masonic cigar on the market.
The first Hiram & Solomon release came from the Dominican Republic. It was a small batch release just for charity. Yet the demand for a second batch was high. And from that one small batch charity cigar, a new company arose. Now with cigars from Nicaragua. All the lines refer to the Masonic world.
We reviewed several Hiram & Solomon Cigars. These are the entered apprentice robusto earlier this year. The Traveling Man Gran Toro, Fellow Craft Robusto, Shriner Robusto, Traveling Man Lancero, and the Veiled Prophet. And Philip & Ferdy were brave enough to pair a Hiram & Solomon with the notorious South East Asian Durian fruits.
